SIT #295-2026 Feb 15
I’m back home enjoying the slow pace of the weekend. Slept in a bit and did my routine in a slow pace with a coffee in my hand. Today the DC was about taking the approach of it being “No Problem”. This sit reiterates that saying that this too shall pass. If you can wrap your head around that and agree with it, then you can also agree that whatever you face is really “No Problem”. Most impacts fade in time. Using practice to give you space and room to look at the issues from a safe place from within without being reactionary. This is a good practice and transitions really well to the real life world. The DT today was all about Road Rage and the feeling of burning aggression and anger. Anger being a natural feeling humans have and that’s OK. This practice helps you accept that anger feeling and the aggression that comes with it. The practice helps you see the feelings without reacting with them and accepting them which in fact takes away the power anger has over you. I really like this sit and it’s a great reminder that anger can only last in the body for 20 mins max once removed from the situation – which means there really is no reason to be angry in the first place. The DJ today was all about “levelling up”. As humans sometimes we like to sit on level one and become comfortable with the security and feeling of comfort in familiarization. This can lead to brain rot and that feeling of being in a rut. This practice shows you that variety and challenges are what help you become better and level up your game. I liked this one – it goes well with the be better today and yesterday even if it’s a tiny amount. If you do that consistently over time you will see incredible results in life.
