07MAR26 – Saturday Slow Starts

Summary
Yesterday was spent mostly inside working. Markets were lateral with not much volatility. I did push weights as planned which means I got in my four workouts this week, which makes me feel good.
I didn’t improve overall from the last push workout, but I did improve on some movements. By the time my workout started I didn’t feel that well and had to cut my workout short.
I even ended up going to bed early without writing or mantra because I wasn’t feeling good. I feel better this morning but still kind of queasy with no hunger whatsoever.
I have to rally today and make sure I make the best day that I can.

Effort without rest will negate effort and eat away at consistency. Balance is important.
Lesson
When you say ‘it’s hard at first, messy in the middle, glorious at the end’, the ‘hard’ refers to a habit not coming as easily or as consistently as you want.
The effort to do habits before they are habits is greatest at the beginning. Sometimes you’ll miss the mark, but reload and shoot again.
It will go from hard to messy. You already know how it ends — because you’ve done it.
