SIT #316-2026 Mar 08 – Women’s Day Forgiveness

Slow Sunday morning.  The DC today was a nod to Women’s Day.  Using practice to drove awareness of the inequalities that still exist and celebrate the growth and accomplishments that  woman have made to date.  It’s a good practice because it also let’s us look at our own accomplishments to date and acknowledging them.  The DT today was a simple meditation about being in your body.  The practice was about being hyper aware of the body that you are in and the current state that it is in right at this very moment.  Then you get there, you are in the flow.  This practice gives you that time for your body to truly rest in the moment.  A time for your body to melt in to calmness.  The DJ today was about forgiveness. It uses practice as a way of seeing that you need to forgive and as a result you are free from the prison that hurt holds you.  When someone hurts you, then it’s normal to relive that hurt over and over again.  Which in essence is holding you in that pain.  Forgiveness, albeit not easy at all, allows you to put that pain in the past, close the door on it, and move on free. Sometimes you can’t do it alone and it’s OK to ask for help.  The goal is to free yourself of the chains that hold you back.
