SIT #318-2026 Mar 10 – Simple Connects


Office day today.  The DC today was about accepting endings.  The practice first started with a full body scan putting you in the flow and being hyper aware of where you are right now and how you are in the moment.  It then moved on to addressing those things that serve you better if you process the ending to them.  Ending is a temporary stressor for a long term relief.  This practice lets you look at those situations from a safe distance and chose a direction without impact to your life in the moment.  The DT today was the appreciation for simple good things.  After sending you in the flow state, this practice helps you be aware of simple good things; like one unique snowflake falling gracefully from the sky.  Or perhaps the gorgeous smell of fresh brewed coffee.  Or perhaps a simple ladybug playing out it’s life on the petal of a rose.  I liked this practice and thinking of simple things helped with the flow state as well.  The DJ today was a continuation from the DC yesterday and worked on the Zulu word Ubuntu.  After setting in to the meditation, you go on a journey and see how interconnected between everyone we actually are.  You care for your kids and you want the best for them.  That means you would want your kids to hang out with good kids and have good friends.  Which means you care for their friends to be happy and healthy.  For them to be happy and healthy they need good parents and good teachers.  So you care for the parents and the teachers too; and so on and so on.
