SIT #324-2026 Mar 16 — Listen Here Now Teacher

Back to the grind.  Today the DC was all about using practice to strengthen your listening skills.  Listening through practice and being aware of what you are hearing brings your focus up and allows you to process sound as it comes to you. Whether that be the rustling of the trees outside or a person conversing with you.  Being present for sound creates a connection which in turn allows you to react with true purpose.  The DT today was all about your inner posture.  This practice looks inward and connects you to center through awareness and acceptance.  The practice uses hyper awareness to get you in to the flow and stay there.  The DJ today was all about unlikely teachers.  “I learned to listen from the talkative, I learned tolerance from the intolerable, I learned kindness from the unkind.  However, I have no gratitude towards these teachers”.  Those things and people that teach us how to be better by they themselves now being better are just as valuable a teacher than one teaching you with the intention of teaching.  I liked this quote and this concept
