SIT #335-2026 Mar 27 – Relationships with Intentions

I had a restful sleep and feel ready for the day. Like time is on my side. The DC today was all about cherishing and being present in relationships. This practice helps you identify those relationships that you can be more present in. The sit gets you in to the flow then helps you analyze your relationships from a distance and helps you find ways to be more involved and present with the other. The DT today was another practice that is all about the practice. Being in the flow and just letting things happen as they happen and being OK with that. Not feeling like it’s not going as planned because whatever happens in practice is what practice is supposed to be. I like sits like this because I seem to get centered quickly and get in to the flow with the all things going on. The DJ today was about the differences between sensations and emotions and how we can confuse them both. For example you could be killing it on the elliptical and you catch the eye of someone on the treadmill across the way. You both nod and smile in a connection. You then start to think to yourself that you might cut your workout short and go and talk to the treadmiller. However, what might be happening is the feelings you feel of attraction might actually be the same serotonin you are flushed with from your work out. Your mind is confusing the body’s reactions. This practice teaches you how to pause and be aware of the differences between your sensations and your emotions and let you make an educated decision on how to move forward.
