SIT #304-2026 Feb 24 – Conflict, Story Telling, Wiggles
Office day today so early shift in the morning routines to adjust for the office day. Today the DC was about how to deal with conflict and how meditation can work to give you the skills to reduce or eliminate your reactionary responses off the mat then faced with conflict. The practice allows you to accept that conflict is a part of life and how you can accept it without being reactionary and how you can take time before dealing with it. I always like this practice. The DT was about writing you story and how it can always be different than the one you have now because through practice you learn that it’s 100% your story and you are the author of it. This practice also gives you the awareness that others have their own story too and allows you to accept that you are not the author of their story just like they are not the author in yours. This grows your acceptance and compassion for yourself and others during the practice. Today the DJ was about leaving that bit of wiggle room in order to give you the flexibility in times of stress instead of being ridged and increasing the chances of breaking. The space shuttle is put together with wiggle room in the design so that all the bolts and nuts and connectors have a bit of wiggle room in order to give the rocket flex when put under extreme pressure of entering and exiting the atmosphere. People are the same – flexibility allows you to react and lessen the impact on yourself. This practice helps you make that wiggle room that you so need in order to deal with the regular stresses off the mat.
