SIT #320-2026 Mar 12 – Grateful to Talk

On the mend. Today the DC was about morning meditation and being grateful for the early morning and what opportunities the day can bring us. The practice sets your intentions for the day by being aware that there is even a day there, a new day, a new beginning. The DT today was about talking to yourself. This practice works to get you in the flow and aware of the current here and now. Then it moves to your inner voice and using that to support yourself; giving yourself that warm supported feeling. It is funny how saying to yourself “I’m here now” (or whatever your support phrase is, creates that supported feeling. The DJ today was about using practice to manage and or avoid being overwhelmed. Practice is an excellent spot to come from when looking at situations that would typically find you overwhelmed. This sit allows you to look at those situations prior to them happening and using the techniques in this practice to reduce this feeling of being overwhelmed. Being aware of the potential allows you to steer the outcome.
