SIT #336-2026 Mar 28 – Spaces for Happenings


 Saturday is here again.  Planned on sleeping in but I got up at 4 am awake as a … wake person.  The DC today was about recognizing space.  The space around you, the space within you, and the space you can create so that you don’t feel crowded.  This sit works from a calm state to observe space and feel comfortable with it.  It also makes you recognize when and where space is required and would help you off the mat.  The DT today was all about being grounded.  Connecting yourself to the ground that you currently occupy.  Through the practice your grounding helps you center and become aware of the here and now rooted through your connection with the ground.  The DJ today uses this practice to observe “what is going on” right now.  What is all here and now and working to accept it as what it’s supposed to be.  Packaging it up in a digestible size, helping you accept and taking the power of the impact away, reducing reactions.  This came at a good time for me.
