SIT #341-2026 Apr 02 – Gratitude Towards Listening

A good morning – it’s getting brighter earlier.  Today the DC was all about gratitude and using practice to identify those that have supported you and been by your side through thick and thin.  This practice takes the time to appreciate those people and show your gratitude from within.  The DJ today was about slowing down in a rush.  Taking the time to be centered in the flow and consciously aware that while in the sit you have nowhere to be but here and that feeling of being in a rush can subside for now.  This practice takes the time to relax in the moment and make sure you take a calm mind for the time of the sit.  The DJ was the continuation from yesterday about intentional listening.  This practice strengthens the ways to listen with intention.  Listening with intention means silence on your part, reflection, and open mindedness.  You should be able to answer what the communicator means by their communication and what that communication meant to them.  Seems simple – but it’s easier said then done.  How many times have you formulated a response to something someone is saying prior to them even finishing what they are saying.
